JK Rowling: The fringe benefits of failure

My failure in REG by one percent made me very depressed. I tried my best not to analyze but I was a bit down. I watched this video at that moment and it inspired me a lot. J.K.Rowling is one of my favorite authors and I present you her video at the Annual Meeting of the Harvard Alumni Association.

  1. Rose,

This is what I did to pass REG:

    1) Study the like-kind exchange handout on Becker website. It's about 26 pages long. I did the first problem of each section, but you should do more if you have time.

    2) Redo the hw questions at least twice, focusing on tax and ethics. Business law was very light. Don't worry too much about the supplemental questions.

    3) Practice simulations.

    4) On the actual exam, give yourself no more than 30-35 min for each testlet and 40-45 min for each simulation.

  2. 5) Choose C for mcq's you don't know the answer to.
